I'm sure some All Star game and HR derby commentary will follow! WOOO HOO RYAN HOWARD!!! At least the Phillies can win something! (in poor taste I know). Let's just hope the Bobby Abreu slump from last year doesn't affect Howard. Interesting, but sad fact from Sports Illustrated:

18 - Home runs hit by the Phillies Bobby Abreu before the All-Star break last year. . .

14 - Home runs, in 145 games by Abreu since the Home Run Derby.

and btw, I believe it was 24 home runs he hit last year in the first round of that derby!
Come on' Bobby, I want to like you. . .
